Select Cinemas based in Tulsa, Oklahoma is a new company formed to operate movie theatres for both new builds and existing properties without current tenants.  The philosophy of Select Cinemas is to build a quality, cost efficient movie theatre in underserved markets.  Select Cinemas is focused on mid-sized markets with populations from 20,000 to 200,000.

Select Cinemas Management has a combined 84 years of experience in the motion picture industry.  The principals of Select Cinemas have relationships with all major film studios, vendors and media.

“The very first theatre we purchased was in Tulsa, OK,” said Blake Smith, Vice President of Select Cinemas.  The Admiral Twin Drive-In has succeeded in remaining exclusive to Tulsa for over a decade now and was recently named a Tulsa landmark- celebrating its 55^th anniversary in 2004.

Select Cinemas aim goes well beyond simply building theatres; they want to affect a positive impact for the community.  Many satellite businesses including restaurants and retail stores depend on the draw and stability of successful motion picture theatres.  Select Cinemas wants to be a catalyst for that economic growth.

EXPANSION
Select Cinemas is open to many options – leasing/build-to-suit/turn-key, third-party partnerships, land purchase and build, management deals, etc.

Select Cinemas has a program designed for older out dated theatres where the property owner and Select Cinemas enter into a partnership to retrofit and reopen theatres as state-of-the-art stadium seating complexes.
